It's been a while since I last wrote a blog, so here we go. Over the past year or so I have had cataracts removed and had total hip surgery. These operations have improved my health and now I am "movin' on".
Recently, I listed over 125 sewing patterns on EBay so please take a look at them if sewing is your hobby. Now I am updating my website and listing more items and loading up my website for the holidays. As I have thousands of various items and 10,000 charms it will take a while.
I am also continuing to work on my book, Southern Paths - Along the Appalachia Trail, which details the adventures and history of the people who migrated to the highlands of South Carolina, Tennessee, and Kentucky. The story of the American Revolutionary War soldiers who received land grants and moved further south into Georgia and Florida Territory to settle with their families will be told. These pioneers produced cattle and citrus. As result of their hardwork along with Henry Flager and Josiah Parrish's expansion of the railways, Florida became an economic leader and the state we know today.
In July, we traveled to Georgia and Florida as part of my research. We visited Lake City, Cocoa Beach, Sanibel, and St. Augustine. Seeing these historical places gave me the connection and inspiration I needed to keep writing. However, I need to get back to posting items for sale online for you.
