Lincoln Memorial, Cent or Penny, Copper, 1996-2025, Circulated, I have saved you time by sorting these coins by year for your next project or collection needs. These coins were previously owned and circulated so they are in various conditions due to wear. (Circulated means lines are visible, fair means the lines are worn down). Coin was composed of 97.5% zinc core with 2.5% copper plating which wore off very quickly.
"Lincoln Memorial" cents or pennies referring to the Lincoln Memorial building on the reverse side, a design used from 1959-2008. 2009 had four commemorative designs celebrating Lincoln's life. 2010 the reverse was changed to the Union Shield design, which continued until November 2025 when the cent ceased production.
