Circulated 1995-2026 Jefferson Nickels inserted in folder for protection. Monticello appears on the reverse side of the coin. Except in 2004 and 2005 when the Nickel celebrated the Journey West by Lewis & Clark. 2004 had the Peace Medal Louisiana Purchase and the Keelboat. 2005 depicted the American Buffalo and the Joy of the Ocean View.

The Thomas Jefferson nickel is composed of 75% copper and 25% nickel and minted in the USA at Philadelphia (P), Denver (D), or San Francisco (S).
