Lincoln Wheat Cent, 1952-1956, Circulated, Copper Cent

$0.75

Lincoln Wheat Cent, I have saved you time by sorting these coins by year for your next project or collection needs. These coins were previously owned and circulated so they are in various conditions due to wear. (Circulated means wheat stalk lines are visible, fair means the lines are worn down). Composed of 95% copper with 5% tin & zinc, except for 1943 when coins were zinc coated steel to conserve copper due to WWII.

The coins are "Wheat" cents or pennies referring to the two wheat stalks on the reverse side, a design used from 1909 to 1958. Wheat cents for years 1911-1951 are listed separately.
