In the 1960s high school senior girls were give Lane Cedar Jewelry boxes in hopes the family would purchase a full-sized cedar chest. This one was distributed by Lane and presented by Hammond-Brown-Jennings Co., Spartanburg, South Carolina. The box measures 9"x5"x3 1/2", is clean & tight with no damage other than a couple scuffs on lid which could be buffed off and touched up with polyeurathane - see photos. No key.
