Traditional Japanese Art, Pagoda and Geisha Girls, Hand Painted with stippling, Oriental, Meiji Era, 1868-1912, Round bowl with scalloped red rim and pierced lattice around. Gold gilt with vibrant colors: white, yellow, orange, pink, green, red, blue, black and brown paints were used on a white porcelain under a high-luster glaze with stippling or moriage.
Design- Oriental, hand painted, 6” diameter x 1” high, red trimmed oval shaped with open handles. Estimated at 175 years old. Imported during Meiji Era (1868-1889) prior to mandatory import markings.
Look at photos- item is in beautiful condition for age, no chips or nicks.
