Traditional Japanese Art, Geisha Girls & Japanese settings adorn this green trimmed dish or saucer which could have been used with chocolate or tea set.
Yelow, orange, pink, green, red, black and brown paints were used on a white porcelain under a high-luster glaze.
Design- Oriental, hand painted, 5” long x 4” wide x 1” high, oval shaped with open handles. Estimated at 175 years old. Imported during Meiji Era (1868-1889) prior to mandatory import markings.
Look at photos- item is in great condition for age, I felt slight roughness and may be a flea bite on rim.
