Beautiful, heavy clear glass Paper Weight, Niagara Falls (New York) color photo, Souvenir, written on back in pencil 8/16/14, 3" diameter. Previously owned - No chips.
Historical heirloom item; my great-grandfather Charles McDaniels, Spafford, New York, was Spafford County Supervisor and married Florence Lieber on December 3, 1912. They visited Niagara Falls, August 16, 1914, and purchased this paperweight as a souvenir. In January 1924 he was killed in a car accident after a supervisor's meeting near Camillus, NY. His wife took over as Supervisor becoming the first woman to hold the position.
