Witches’ Pursuit, Sugar Bowl & Creamer, 1970s, marked HD, see description/photos

$42.00

Inspired by Scottish poet Robert Burn’s poem ‘Tam O’Shanter’, this set of ceramic creamer and sugar bowl with lid display the tavern scene and Tam’s horse ride escaping the witches.
Witches’ Pursuit, green and white raised design, was done mid-1970s. The sugar bowl is 6” T x 7” W x 4” D and has a matching lid. Creamer is 4.5” T x 5” W x 4” D. All pieces are marked HD, who I think was the maker. The interior of both pieces on the bottom shows some crazing as would be caused by age - you can see in the photos provided. Lid doesn’t have crazing. No chips or cracks.
I have seen similar sets online with different maker marks. I have owned this vintage set for many years and hope it goes to a good, new home.
