Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Co. made in Germany in 1891. Straight razor is engraved "Dale '91". 3" blade, 10" overall.
Leather holder is stamped "The Tabb & Jenkins Hdwe Co Baltimore, Md" and "Our Leader". Holder is 6 1/2" long x 1" wide x1/2" deep.
The Hibbard et al company incorporated in 1892 and apparently they produced commendatory razors for businesses to give as gifts. This one would have been given to someone named Dale for being a leader at the Tabb and Jenkins Hardware store in 1891. The case has wear but is solid. Great find for a collector of such memorabilia.
